Impact English College opens its new campus in Brisbane, Australia
Impact English College, International Education Award winners for English Language Training in 2013 and 2014, has now officially opened its second campus in Brisbane, Australia to complement its Melbourne operations.
The campus opening was attended by representatives of local and offshore education agents, Impact English College’s pathway providers, and was officially opened by Mr Mark Raven, Chief Executive Officer, National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS), and Mr Patrick Hafenstein, Group Manager, International Education and Training, Trade and Investment Queensland, along with Impact English College Directors, Fukari Sato and Chris Burgess.
The new 3-level campus, which opens for classes on July 13, is fully accredited by the Australian Government through the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), is Quality Endorsed by the NEAS, Australia’s leader in Quality Assurance, and is also proud to be listed for Brisbane as well as Melbourne by the internationally acclaimed Independent Association of Language Centres (IALC).
The light-filled and colourful campus is located at 110 Eagle Street in the Brisbane CBD’s Golden Triangle and close to all city conveniences and public transport. It features 16 spacious classrooms, a library/computer room, a well-equipped student lounge, excellent teacher facilities, and provides wi-fi connection throughout.
The Brisbane campus will mirror the Melbourne campus in everything that Impact is known for, including its strict English Only policy and for providing students with top class service and learning outcomes across a wide range of courses. It will allow for transfer of students between campuses, thus providing the opportunity for students to experience living in two of Australia’s most vibrant cities, each with a very different feel.
The Brisbane campus is led by Mr Genesio Falcomer – Academic Manager, and Ms Mari Hayashi – Marketing Manager, with support from Ms Jenifer Diaz – Marketing and Administration Officer. Genesio has been a Brisbane local for over 20 years and was formerly Director of Studies with another Brisbane provider. Mari and Jenifer have transferred to Brisbane from the Melbourne campus, and will assist in ensuring that the same high standards are met in both locations.
